We love independent record stores, they are big part of why City Slang started, if it wasn’t for the dedicated music lovers that worked in these stores, there would have been no label. This is still the case today. ⁠⠀

There is always talk about “the decline of the physical market”, that's bullshit, they are the same kind of people who tried to officially bury the vinyl LP 25 years ago. (google it, it did happen.) Music, in it's physical form, be it CDS, LPS, even Tapes, will always play an important part for music lovers out there, young and old. ⁠❤️⁠⠀

These might be trying times but it is not the end. In Berlin and some parts of Germany, some record stores are open again. In Europe, labels and stores have come up with great ideas to stay connected with their customers and fans, mail order is thriving even leading to bike delivery options!⁠ 🚴⁠⠀
